“Baahubali – The Conclusion” will be Releasing shortly on time as Vatal Nagaraj has called off Bengaluru Bandh.
Tamil Actor Sathyaraj has made an apology on Friday for his so very controversial statement years ago. Former MLA Vatal Nagaraj has also declared saying that there is no problem and the film can be released peacefully in theatres in Karnataka. He also said, “We have considered his (Sathyaraj’s) apology. The film’s director S.S. Rajamouli has also apologized.”
He also ensured that, “As Sathyaraj apologized, there will not be any obstruction for the Release of ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’. But, Sathyaraj should keep his words in control.”
He also said that he will be taking similar action if the obstruction still exists for the film release in Tamil Nadu.
He said that he will not be obstructing and there will be no problems with the film content as we are just protesting against Sathyaraj’s statements. There will also be no Bengaluru bandh on 28th April which is declared as Release date of ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’.
Also commenting on the nature of the apology rendered, he said,” Sathyaraj should have apologized publicly. He sat somewhere and regretted for his words against Kannadigas. But we will consider this.”
The Release of ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ in the state of Karnataka, several Kannada organizations, called for a day-long bandh on 28th April. This was led by Former MLA Vatal Nagaraj.
While Addressing media persons, Vatal Nagaraj also said, “Our dissent is not against the movie Baahubali, but against Sathyaraj, who had made derogatory comments about Kannadigas and Karnataka leaders. We want him to apologize to the people of Karnataka and only then will we allow the screening.”
It was also justified by the Film Director S.S. Rajamouli sayong that this statement was made nine years ago by Sathya raj but till now more than 30 films have been released starring Sathyaraj in the state. Also according to Rajamouli, “Linking his old remarks that were made several years ago with the current scenario and posing an obstacle to the release of the movie is not in the interest of the industry,”
