Actor Kamal Haasan has been seen praising his former colleague Sathyaraj as he has apologized over his remark which was made during the Cauvery Crisis, calling him a “great Human Being ‘’. He also tweeted, “congratulating Mr. Sathyaraj for maintaining rationality in troubled environment”.
Also it was quoted by actor – director from his directorial venture 'Virumaandi' to describe Sathyaraj as a "great human being".
Movie also says that according to the protagonist's wife a man who seeks forgiveness is a "great human being".
Sathyaraj, expressed regret over his comments made during the Cauvery dispute when he was appealing for release of the second part of the film in Karnataka next week. He plays the role of Kattappa in SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali".
All his statement also came following the demand of an apology from the actor. He also said that his statement was made many years back down the line. He also apologized for his statement. This happened during a protest which was organized by the Tamil Industry against the attack on Tamil in Karnataka over the Cauvery dispute. The dispute was settled down later on with time.
State BJP leader H Raja also said that Sathyaraj and Kamal Haasan were "bothered only about money." He tweeted saying their love for Tamil and their Tamil sentiment is only skin deep,"
He also described Sathyaraj's act as a "self-respectless act done for money."
