The rapper Gucci Mane, whose record label, Gucci Mane's 1017 Records, the artist was signed to, confirmed the musician's death on Thursday after it was first reported by The Shaderoom.In July 2020, Big Scarr (actual name Alexander Woods) made his debut on a compilation album called The New 1017, Gucci Mane Presents: So Icy Summer. 

He performed "SoIcyBoyz" with fellow labelmates Pooh Shiesty and Foogiano as well as the solo tune "Make A Play."
