This move follows Tesla's announcement that it delivered a record-breaking 422,875 vehicles globally in the first quarter of the year, following previous rounds of price reductions. Earlier in March, Tesla lowered the prices of its Model S and Model X vehicles, and back in January, it slashed prices by as much as 20% in the U.S., making some of its cars eligible for a federal electric vehicle tax credit.
