Under his leadership, the Tata Group became one of India's largest conglomerates, with a presence in over 100 countries and a portfolio of companies in a wide range of industries, including steel, automobiles, consulting, power, and chemicals.
Tata has also been recognized for his philanthropic efforts. He has donated generously to causes such as education, healthcare, and the environment and has established the Tata Trusts, which focus on various social and environmental initiatives in India.
