The rapper Gucci Mane, whose record label, Gucci Mane's 1017 Records, the artist was signed to, confirmed the musician's death on Thursday after it was first reported by The Shaderoom.In July 2020, Big Scarr (actual name Alexander Woods) made his debut on a compilation album called The New 1017, Gucci Mane Presents: So Icy Summer. 

He performed "SoIcyBoyz" with fellow labelmates Pooh Shiesty and Foogiano as well as the solo tune "Make A Play." In the entire project, Big Scarr was one of just three artists to appear on a track by themselves.They had to remove my appendix since my internal organs were damaged, allowing me to once again walk. However, I recovered and bounced back far more quickly than I anticipated.

Before releasing his debut mixtape, 2021's Big Grim Reaper, which included features by Gucci, Pooh Shiesty, Foogiano, and producer Tay Keith, Big Scarr made a cameo on another collection from 1017, So Icy Gang, Vol. 1. The project eventually peaked at No. 1 on Rolling Stone's Breakthrough 25 Chart and No. 25 on Billboard's Hot 200 album chart.
